Are you over just having a romantic dinner with you significant other during Valentine's Day?  Are you looking forward to plan something unique, something that beats a table for two arrangement?  Look no more, with these activities, you are ensured to have one unique Valentine's Day experience in New York. 

1. Day in the Park

 

Because Central Park is romantic any given Day.  You can start your day with a late breakfast in the Boat House.  If you're lucky, you will snag one of the tables overlooking the lake.  If not extremely hungry multiple Le Pain's scattered around the park is another viable option for snacks.  You can also get wine to warm up your insides if the weather is too brisk.  Renting a boat is always a great activity for couple's in the park.  For an hour, you can enjoy the serenity of each other engulfed by the nature around you. Don't forget to head to the Bow Bridge and Bethesda Fountain for a romantic picture or two. The Met is always a great spot to wrap up a romantic day in Central Park.

Do you just want to watch a movie but also want to go out?  Located in South Seaport, IPic theater brings best of both worlds to you.  You can watch a movie in their posh bed seats for two with blankets and pillows.  Just make sure you are selecting premium seats in the front! 3. Stargazing in American Museum of Natural History

Every year, American Museum of Natural history provides a mesmerizing opportunity to celebrate Valentine's Day under the stars.  Their Romance under the Star event includes cocktail hour, an open bar with hors d'oeouvres and chocolate followed by time under the stars in their Hayden Planetarium.  Time well spent gazing the universe while listening to ancient love stories.  They have two time slots; 6.30 and 9.00 pm.  Tickets are $125 each and can be purchased from here.

 

 

4. Valentine's day cruises

 

Cruises might be quite the cliche for New Yorkers but hey, gotta do it once for the experience.  What a great way to lock down your significant other for couple of hours to enjoy a multiple course menu with the iconic Manhattan skyline as a backdrop.  Bateaux New York offers multiple cruise options during the day for brunch, lunch; and dinner for multiple days on Valentine's day week. 5. Couple's Spa
